Commercial HVAC Installer / Sheet Metal Mechanic
$25–$40/hour (DOE) | Full-Time

We’re looking for a skilled Commercial HVAC Installer with solid sheet metal experience to join our growing team. If you take pride in clean installs, know your way around ductwork, and can handle commercial projects from layout to completion—this is a great opportunity to work with a company that values quality and craftsmanship.

What You’ll Do

• Install commercial HVAC systems, including RTUs, split systems, and ductwork
• Fabricate, assemble, and install sheet metal duct systems
• Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications
• Measure, cut, and fit ductwork for proper airflow and efficiency
• Work alongside foremen, project managers, and other trades on job sites
• Ensure all work meets code, safety standards, and company quality expectations
• Troubleshoot installation issues and make necessary adjustments in the field

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent, completion of a trade school or apprenticeship program in HVAC preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial HVAC installation.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems and components including wiring, refrigeration, and ductwork.
- Strong sheet metal experience ( Fabrication and install)
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Physical ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.
