Description

Clarke-Rush is seeking a driven individual with at least 5 years of experience to fill the role of HVAC Comfort Advisor, servicing Sacramento, CA, and surrounding areas. Clarke-Rush is a well-known HVAC contractor in Sacramento with over 60 years of trust and dedication to customer relationships.  We are looking for a career-oriented, honest, and hardworking salesperson to join our team.

The HVAC Comfort Advisor role requires effective appointment-setting and closing skills, a passion for exceeding customer expectations, a flexible work schedule, and exemplary verbal and written communication skills. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and personable. This position comes with support from a dynamic team, access to a large client database, and a performance-driven management team that prioritizes doing things right the first time.

Responsibilities:
 

- Strive for nothing less than a 5-star customer experience with every interaction.

- Listen to and educate customers about their HVAC equipment sales options.

- Present yourself as knowledgeable and professional while providing information on HVAC systems.

- Work with the customer service team and HVAC Service Technicians to ensure success.

- Actively participate in all training sessions and meetings.

- Develop and cultivate professional relationships.

- Review daily sales proposals and paperwork submitted by HVAC field personnel to ensure all information is accurately recorded.

- Address employee and client concerns with urgency.

- Track sales statistics, profit/loss margins, and other relevant data.

- Perform other duties as assigned, understand the company reserves the right to add or change duties as needed.

 

Qualifications:
 

- Must have at least 5 years of HVAC sales experience.

-  Proven track record in meeting sales targets

- A passion for exceptional service is essential.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.

- Must be team-oriented and capable of working independently.

- Strong organizational skills are necessary.

- A strong work ethic is essential.

- Demonstrate the highest level of integrity—doing the right thing even when no one is watching.

- An engaging and enthusiastic personality that fits well in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment.

- Ability to handle pressure, manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to rapidly changing priorities.

- Strong relationship-building skills with various internal and external contacts.

- Strong decision-making abilities are essential.

- Knowledge of Service Titan software is a plus.
 

Physical Requirements:
 

- Ability to sit, stand, walk, twist, bend, stoop, kneel, crawl, and climb stairs/ladders.

- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 75 lbs.

- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Work in both extreme heat and cold weather when necessary
